Dear Valued Customers,
 

It is with a heavy heart that I announce some significant changes to Special Care Clothing. After many years of dedication, I have to finally hand over the reins, and my current manufacturer has decided she would like to continue to provide this invaluable service, from 1st July '25.

The reason for this change is due to family needs and now, as a full time carer, it makes it diffucult for me to find the time required to provide the quality service you deserve.   My new manufacturer will still operate from Cannon Hill, Qld, but may also manufacturer in her factory overseas. This transition marks a shift from my long-standing commitment to being fully Australian Owned and Made, however, ensuring high-quality fabrics and craftsmanship has always been my top priority, and I believe Ella will still provide this quality of product.  I will be working closely with them during this transition period to be sure they are fully aware of the service and needs of our clients.
 

On a brighter note, we will soon launch a new website with the same familiar look and feel, highlighting the available stock along with the availability to back up order, if not currently in stock. Our current hosting platform, which has served us well for nearly 20 years, will soon be unsupported due to its age. It was time for an upgrade anyway.   Supporting individuals in maintaining their dignity and quality of life through comfortable clothing, has been an incredibly rewarding journey for me.

Since 2009, I've also had the privilege of organizing annual Expos to raise awareness of support services available for people with disabilities, and aged care needs. I’m proud to share that these events will continue under the banner of the Care Expo by Australian Events.

Thank you for being a part of my journey.  Your support means the world to me, and I am sure Ella and Anh from Maureen Fashions, will maintain this service well.
